1. Information you enter
BabyTracker stores data on your device first. Feeds, sleep, nappies, growth, vaccinations and other health records you enter stay on your device by default. There is no separate developer account. Core recording does not require your name, phone number or email address.
2. How information is used
- To display records, timelines, totals and trends in the app.
- To provide local notifications, health task alarms and recording reminders you enable. Revoking permission pauses scheduling.
- To let invited family members view and maintain records when you enable family sharing.
3. Local storage and family sync
Everyday records are stored locally by default. With family sharing enabled, data syncs between members through their own Apple iCloud / CloudKit accounts. Sync depends on Apple’s services and each member’s account status; it does not pass through a BabyTracker account server. The baby’s region, growth reference, time zone and calendar birthday are shared with their profile. Interface language and reminder permissions stay on each device. Record timestamps remain absolute and display in the baby’s time zone.
4. Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal records, use them for targeted advertising or send baby records to third-party tracking services. Data is sent only when you choose an action such as sharing diagnostics or enabling a family space, to your chosen recipient or your own iCloud account.
5. Support, feedback and diagnostics
- Email and optional Xiaohongshu are contact channels you choose. Drafts contain your message, issue category and necessary app version, system version and device model. You review and send them; the app never sends automatically.
- Diagnostics are generated only when you request them. You select a recipient in the system share sheet. They are never uploaded automatically.
- Diagnostics exclude baby names and record content, family space and member names, contact details, CloudKit or record IDs, invitation links and photos.
We use emails and attachments you send only to reply and investigate your issue. You can contact the support address to request access, correction or deletion of feedback you have sent.
6. System permissions
The app requests permissions only when relevant features need them. The system photo picker handles images you select. Notification permission covers reminders you enable; iOS 26 alarm permission covers fixed health tasks you choose. Review or revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Retention and deletion
You manage local records in the app and on your device. You can delete individual records, content in a family space or the entire app. Data synced through iCloud / CloudKit also depends on your iCloud settings, family space status and Apple’s service rules.
8. Website privacy
This website has no third-party analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels or third-party fonts. It offers no accounts, forms or online care-data storage. When you visit the App Store, Xiaohongshu or send email, the relevant service’s privacy policy applies.
The website is hosted by Vercel. The hosting service processes network information needed to serve requests and handles operational logs under its service policies. This website has no additional user-behaviour analytics tools.
9. Children and health
BabyTracker is a daily recording and reference tool for adult carers. It does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about your baby’s health, medicines or unusual symptoms.
